ASA Reports increases in Contract Technical Positions in March

The American Staffing Association is reporting that contract employment grew approximately 12.5% in March 2011 over the same time period a year ago.

50th Anniversary!!!

April 1, 2011: L. J. Gonzer Associates is celebrating its 50 anniversary in business. The company was started in April 1961, by Lawrence Gonzer PE as a support service for the engineering and technical community. We are all very pleased and excited to reach this milestone. And we are looking forward to the challenges and growth of the next 50 years!

Job Market Encouraging

With better than expected job numbers from the labor department we are all hoping the worst is behind us. Fortunately the need for highly skilled and talented technical personnel seems to be leading the pack. A leading staffing industry association is reporting that contract staffing has increased more than 8% just since the second quarter. Companies are looking for people to help with their short term and specialized projects to keep their companies innovating and on track.

Going Green

L. J. Gonzer Associates is kicking off it's "Green" initiative. We are looking for simple ways to be environmentally sound and responsible in the generic workplace. From Energy Saving suggestions to looking at office equipment that has a demonstrated reduction in resource consumption, we are looking to make all of our work environments reflect what we would like to see in our communities.
